Inside out

I wish more people would empathize for those who deal with anxiety and depression. I know what it's god more of a presence lately with how the world has been the last few years, but there's still so many people who think "just push through" is good enough.

You can't slap a patch on a piece of stopping fabric that's just going to continue to fall apart beneath the patch, and you sure can't just stick a bandaid on a brain that doesn't operate the way a lot of others do.

It's really easy to look okay on the outside, because sometimes covering up things that feel broken is easier to do on days we can't seem to put pieces back together.

I'm learning there are going to be good days, really really amazing days, and sometimes there's just going to be hard days you just can't come out of ask quickly as you'd like, and forcing yourself before your ready, just makes you fall deeper into the darkness.

The hardest part, is no matter how much support you have in the world, the work can only be done by you, and sometimes it can just be truly unbearable.

Just remember to be kind to yourself on those hard days, because the more you love yourself and take care of yourself, the less the hard days will happen and the more peace you will have.

At least, so im hoping. ❤️
